Despite of being often overlooked, the topic of skin hydration is of utmost importance. Regardless of your skin type or condition, whether it be young or old, dry, oily, mixed or problem, your skin need hydration.
Ladies with dryer skin have already learned this lesson, but there are girls with oily skin who are terrified of using hydrating lotions with the erroneous assumption that this way they will clog their pores and evoke problems. Yes, it is true that there is no product more suitable for skin prone to greasiness than the light quickly absorbed fluid. But even oily skin can be dehydrated and in cases such as these, the fluid is insufficient in compensating for the lack of moisture.
How can the skin be oily and dehydrated at the same time? There is a simple explanation. In an attempt to rid yourself of the oily shine, you use aggressive methods which destroy the skin’s protective mechanisms. This way the skin is forced to compensate for its losses and overproduction of sebum is triggered. The skin becomes even oilier. It’s paradoxical, but if your skin is both dehydrated and greasy at the same time, the use of moisturizing products will reduce the shine. Choose a light lotion with a texture that is close to fluid, which would supply the moisture your skin needs.
Don't forget WATER is also essential for skin hydration, as long as it is used as a drink, not topical treatment. Washing the face with water offers none of the positive effects that drinking water gives you. On the contrary – water can dry your skin, depleting its fatty reserves. This is why your skin often feels dry after taking a bath or shower. Use lotion to relieve your skin and replenish it’s moisture

Tips - Dressing For Your Body Type
Fashion is all about dressing your body. If you know your body shape — and every woman should — then you will be able to find clothes that fit and flatter.

Determine and embrace your body shape
Body shape is all about proportion, and fashion is all about dressing those proportions to look their very best.
When you think about body types, don't focus on height and weight... focus on shape. A slender gal can have the same body shape as a curvy gal, just as a short woman can have the same body shape as her taller friend.
Each of us is unique — and our bodies are, too! Nevertheless, our body shapes are generally narrowed down to five general categories: pear, wedge, rectangle, apple and hourglass. You might fall into one category, or you might be a blend of two or more categories.
Once you've determined your body shape, you can begin to consider which fashion trends to embrace and which to avoid. Spend some time in front of the mirror and do a fair and honest assessment of your body. Then put these fashion tips to work for you!
_______________________________
If your body is pear-shaped like Kim Kardashian's, then you want to minimize your lower half and focus attention upward.
If you have a wedge body like Audrina Patridge's, then you want to draw attention downward to the narrower parts of your body, such as your waist and hips.
If your body is rectangle-shaped like Natalie Portman's, then you want to create curves where they don't necessarily exist.
............................................
If you have an apple-shaped body like Jennifer Hudson's, then you want to elongate your midsection and create the illusion of a smaller waist.
If your body is hourglass-shaped like Beyonce's, then you're a lucky girl! Your shape is all about tastefully showing off those curves: not too baggy, not too tight.

What Tone Of Red Lipstick Looks Best On You?
The secret to perfect red lips lies in selecting the tone that goes best with your complexion and hair color. Hollywood stars recommends:
“The paler your skin is, the more orange there should be in your lipstick. For women with dark skin and dark hair, red lipstick with pink undertones is best. Don’t forget that red lipstick in itself is a strong highlight, so combine it with a more neutral eye makeup.”
Dark red - The wine-red tones are suitable for people with a very light complexion, which does not have a pinkish undertone. If your skin is dark and you still prefer this hue, then go for the metallic makeup nuances. Use golden face powder which will cover your face in mysterious little “sunbursts”. Pull your hair back and put on a pair of sparkling earrings. In all other cases this tone of lipstick will make you look dark and vulgar. In swarthier women wine-red lipsticks may even have an aging effect.
Pink-red - Bright pink-red lipstick should never be used by red-heads or women with a pink complexion for the risk of looking ridiculous. You should also avoid this tone if you have defined and visible freckles. Pink-red lipstick is reserved for the brunettes. It opens up the face and underlines the contrast between their lips and their dark hair. This color of lipstick looks good with any hair style – free flowing, elegant bun or a casual braid – and gives the air of class and charm.
Orange-red - This tone literally gives warmth. It is great for ladies with a very light, pinkish complexion, because it balances the facial tan. Keep in mind that using this color of red lipstick requires sparkling white teeth, because otherwise it will give them an unpleasant yellowish glow.
Orange-red lipstick is not reserved only for the “Snow White” type of ladies. It also looks fabulous on Latino-type ladies with golden complexions.
Brick-red - This is the perfect color for ladies with charming freckles and copper hair. It looks wonderful in combination with their delicate complexion and highlights their fragile features without looking too vulgar or fake. And finally a small professional trick – a dab of golden-peach eye shadows to the hollow of your upper lip will brighten your face, highlight the beauty of your lips and make you look younger. But remember – just a dab.

Acne
These are some things I learned and want to share them with all of you.
Every person that have acne does not like it. I know it sucks but, don't forget that around three-quarters of all teenagers and young adults suffer from acne. Don't be with a low self-esteem and shy/afraid of how you look.
To keep the acne away you should have a skincare routine that need to stick with it. Of course, you won't see the result in using it for just a week. It might take months to see some of the results. Don't forget that to a person to another take different amount of days for the result, and doesn't mean that your sibling saw results in few weeks, you too will.
(In the near future I will post my skincare routine).
Acne can be in the face, neck, the upper part of the chest, and the back.
There are different types of Acne;
- Acne Vulgaris
- Cystic Acne
- Open and Closed Comedones (Blackheads, Whiteheads)
Acne Vulgaris
In other words it is common in human skin. Most people have suffered from acne vulgaris at some point in their lives. Get blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples (zits). It may be mild for some people, with just a few blemishes here and there. For others, acne vulgaris becomes more severe. Breaking out aren't always to the face but you may find yourself breaking out aswell on the neck, chest, back, and shoulders too.
You didn't do anything that caused it and it's not from what you have been eating. It appears when oil and skin cells become trapped in the pore, that's why is important the skincare routine.
Last and not least it is treatable :)
Cystic Acne
Cystic acne is the most severe form of acne and require dermatological treatment. Shows big zits that when you try to squeeze them nothing will come out because they be deep, inflamed breakouts develop on the face and/or other areas of the body. It can be genetic. It can cause scars by picking them or leave them on your face for a long period of time. It is treatable but need to see a dermatologic.
Comedones
Blackheads form when the oil producing glans in the skin produce too much oil and it collects in a skin pore. Hormonal changes and other imbalances in the body seem to cause this.
You should never squeeze a blackhead since this cause damage the skin. In this point your skincare is important but use a gentle cleanser that doesn't dry your skin.
YOU SHOULD NEVER PICK OR SQUEEZE ANY TYPE OF ACNE
How To Choose The Right Foundation?
It's the best to test a foundation before buy it. That's why is better to go to a department store rather to a local pharmacy or grocery store. Make sure you can return it if you won't like it.
Make sure you pick the right formulation for your skin. If you're oily, look for words like "oil-free," "oil-control" or "mattifying" on the bottle. Got dry skin? Go for moisturizing foundations with "hydrating" or "moisture-rich" wording on the bottle. For combination skin, determine if you're more oily or dry. Cream-to-powder bases work great for combination skin. Mineral foundations work well on all skin types, especially sensitive skin.
You can go to the counter with eye makeup, lipstick or moisturizer on your face but not with foundation on.
Yellow-based foundations look most natural on all skin tones. However, if you're very fair try a pink, cooler shade.
These two tips will help you choose the right one easier:
- It's important to try to colour on your jawline or on the cheek, not on your wrist or hand.
- See if the color matches by standing in natural lighting.
Remember, if you can go for SPF in the foundation and wearing foundation all day, everyday is not healthy for your skin.
(Different types of foundation. Compact, liquid, SPF, Wrinkle Free, Mineral..)
